TWO CHILDREN LOOK TO THE FUTURE
Lord
ago that there are more homes burned
like trees without leaves, but
around us there are only flowers.
Let people do not bring more guns, but
Gift
that there is more misery and despair, but
joy and serenity.
Lord, when I hear a siren,

I had the black for the tears of orphans;
I did not have white hands and the face of the dead.
But I had orange for the joy of life,
and green for buds and nests, and
heavenly light shining skies
